Subscription & Billing Policy

This Subscription & Billing Policy applies to all contractors, tradespeople and businesses using paid features of the Local Tradez platform.

By subscribing to Local Tradez, you agree to this Subscription & Billing Policy in addition to the Terms & Conditions.

 

Membership Access

Local Tradez offers subscription-based access to contractor features and job opportunities.

An active subscription may be required to access certain features of the platform.

Local Tradez reserves the right to introduce, modify or remove subscription plans at any time.

 

Introductory Pricing

From time to time, Local Tradez may offer introductory or promotional pricing.

Current introductory pricing and promotional offers are subject to change without notice for new subscribers.

Where a promotional period has been advertised, the applicable pricing will apply for that period before reverting to the standard membership fee.

 

Billing & Renewals

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis.

By subscribing, you authorise Local Tradez and its payment providers to automatically charge the nominated payment method for recurring subscription fees.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled by the user.

 

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  • Local Tradez may attempt to process the payment again.
  • Users may receive payment reminders.
  • Access to certain features may be restricted.
  • Accounts may be suspended until payment is successfully processed.

Local Tradez is not responsible for any losses arising from suspension due to non-payment.

Cancellation

Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings or by contacting support.

Cancellation will prevent future billing but does not automatically entitle users to refunds for previous subscription periods.

Access may continue until the end of the current billing period.

 

Refunds

Unless required by Australian Consumer Law, subscription fees are generally non-refundable.

Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis at Local Tradez’s discretion.

 

Pricing Changes

Local Tradez may update pricing, subscription inclusions or membership structures from time to time.

Users will be provided reasonable notice of material pricing changes where required.

 

Suspension & Termination

Local Tradez reserves the right to suspend or terminate subscriptions for:

  • Non-payment
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Breach of Terms & Conditions
  • Misuse of the platform
  • Unlawful conduct

Nothing on the platform grants any licence or right to use Local Tradez intellectual property without written permission.

All content displayed on the Local Tradez website and application is protected by copyright.

Users must not:

  • Copy
  • Reproduce
  • Modify
  • Republish
  • Distribute
  • Commercially exploit

any Local Tradez content without prior written consent.

 

Workflow & Platform Concepts

The Local Tradez platform incorporates proprietary workflows, systems and methodologies, including but not limited to:

Users acknowledge that these workflows form part of the Local Tradez intellectual property ecosystem.

 

User Content

Users retain ownership of content they upload to the platform.

By uploading content, users grant Local Tradez a non-exclusive licence to store, display, process and use that content for the operation of the platform.

 

Unauthorised Use

Any unauthorised use of Local Tradez intellectual property may result in:

  • Removal of access
  • Legal action
  • Injunctive relief
  • Claims for damages

to the fullest extent permitted by law.
