Account Deletion

At Local Tradez, we respect your right to control your personal information and account.

Users may delete their Local Tradez account at any time through the application settings.

 

How To Delete Your Account

To delete your account:

  1. Log into the Local Tradez app.
  2. Navigate to Account Settings.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Follow the confirmation prompts.
  5. Your deletion request will then be processed.

What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted

When an account is deleted:

  • Access to the Local Tradez platform will be removed.
  • Login credentials will be disabled.
  • Your public profile will no longer be visible within the platform.
  • Active subscriptions may be cancelled in accordance with subscription terms.

 

Information That May Be Deleted

Subject to legal and operational requirements, Local Tradez may remove:

  • Profile information
  • Contact information
  • Account preferences
  • Login credentials
  • User-generated content where appropriate

 

Information That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained for up to twelve (12) months following account deletion for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Accounting obligations
  • Fraud prevention
  • Security monitoring
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Dispute resolution
  • Platform integrity

 

Examples of retained information may include:

  • Transaction records
  • Communication records
  • Job records
  • Audit logs
  • Subscription records
  • Support correspondence

 

Subscription Cancellation

Deleting an account does not automatically guarantee the cancellation of any external payment arrangements.

Users remain responsible for ensuring any applicable subscription arrangements are cancelled in accordance with their subscription terms.

Where subscriptions are managed directly through Local Tradez, account deletion will trigger a review of any active subscription status.

 

Reopening An Account

Once an account has been deleted, restoration may not be possible.

Users wishing to use Local Tradez again may be required to create a new account and complete any applicable registration processes.

 

Security & Fraud Prevention

Local Tradez reserves the right to retain limited information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Detect fraud
  • Prevent abuse of the platform
  • Enforce Terms & Conditions
  • Comply with legal obligations
