1. Introduction

Welcome to Local Tradez (“Local Tradez”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Local Tradez website, mobile application, services, messaging systems, workflows and related functionality.

By accessing or using Local Tradez, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.

2. Platform Purpose

Local Tradez is a work flow and communication platform designed to assist homeowners, contractors, tradespeople and service providers to:

  • Scope jobs
  • Capture project information
  • Package job details
  • Communicate with users
  • Schedule works
  • Prepare estimates and quotes
  • Manage workflow processes

Local Tradez does not carry out building work, maintenance work, trade services, project management or construction services.

3. Independent Contractor Relationship

All contractors, tradespeople and service providers using Local Tradez operate independently.

Local Tradez does not employ contractors.

Any agreement for works, services, pricing, variations, scheduling, workmanship, warranties or disputes exists solely between the customer and contractor.

4. User Accounts

Users must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain account security
  • Keep passwords confidential

Users are responsible for all activity occurring under their account.

5. Contractor Registration

Contractors may be required to provide:

  • Business name
  • ABN
  • Licence information
  • Insurance details
  • Trade categories
  • Service areas

Contractors are responsible for ensuring all information remains accurate and current.

6. No Guarantee Of Workmanship

Local Tradez does not guarantee:

  • Workmanship
  • Trade quality
  • Contractor performance
  • Project outcomes
  • Completion dates
  • Licensing validity
  • Insurance validity

All works are undertaken entirely at the risk of the customer and contractor.

7. Customer Due Diligence

Customers remain responsible for independently verifying:

  • Licences
  • Insurance
  • Qualifications
  • References
  • Contractor suitability

Users should not rely solely on information displayed within the platform.

8. Quotes & Estimates

Any estimate, quote or pricing information provided through Local Tradez:

  • Is indicative only
  • May be subject to variation
  • May require site inspection
  • Does not constitute a binding agreement unless separately agreed between the parties

Local Tradez is not responsible for pricing disputes.

9. Payments

Local Tradez does not process payments between homeowners and contractors.

All financial arrangements, deposits, invoices and payments occur directly between users.

Local Tradez accepts no responsibility for payment disputes.

10. Subscriptions

Certain contractor features may require an active subscription.

Subscriptions may include:

  • Contractor access
  • Job opportunities
  • Workflow tools
  • Additional platform features

Subscription pricing may change from time to time.

11. Failed Payments

If a subscription payment fails:

  • Access may be restricted
  • Features may be suspended
  • Accounts may become inactive

Access may be restored once payment issues are resolved.

12. Messaging & Communications

Users may communicate through the platform.

Users must not:

  • Harass others
  • Send spam
  • Upload unlawful content
  • Misuse the messaging system

 

Local Tradez reserves the right to moderate platform activity.

13. Reviews & Ratings

Users may leave review and ratings.
Local Tradez may remove reviews that are:

  • False
  • Misleading
  • Offensive
  • Fraudulent
  • Unlawful

14. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with Local Tradez remains the property of Local Tradez Pty Ltd.

This includes:

  • Local Tradez
  • Tradez It
  • Quotez Ready
  • My Tradez Team
  • The 3-2-1 Method
  • Logos
  • Branding
  • Software
  • Workflows

Users must not reproduce or exploit platform content without written permission.

15. Account Suspension & Termination

Local Tradez may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Breaches of these Terms
  • Fraudulent conduct
  • Unlawful activity
  • Platform abuse
  • Non-payment of subscriptions

 

16. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Tradez excludes liability for:

  • Project defects
  • Contractor conduct
  • Customer conduct
  • Financial loss
  • Property damage
  • Personal injury
  • Delays
  • Disputes

Users use the platform at their own risk.

17. Emergency Disclaimer

Local Tradez is not an emergency response service.

If there is an immediate threat to life, health, safety or property, users should contact emergency services or an appropriately licensed emergency contractor.

18. Privacy

Use of Local Tradez is also governed by the Local Tradez Privacy Policy.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.

Any disputes arising from the use of Local Tradez shall be subject to the applicable laws and courts of Australia.
