These Community Guidelines are designed to ensure the platform remains professional, respectful, safe and beneficial for everyone.
By using Local Tradez, you agree to follow these guidelines.
Be Respectful
All users must communicate respectfully and professionally.
Users must not:

- Engage in bullying or intimidation
- Make threats
- Engage in discriminatory behaviour
- Use offensive or hateful language
Healthy and respectful communication is expected at all times.
Be Honest
Users must provide accurate and truthful information.
This includes:
- Job descriptions
- Business information
- Licences
- Insurance details
- Reviews
- Ratings
- Project information
Users must not knowingly provide false or misleading information.
No Fraudulent Activity
Users must not:
- Impersonate another person or business
- Upload fake licences or insurance documents
- Create fake accounts
- Manipulate reviews or ratings
- Misrepresent qualifications or experience
- Engage in deceptive conduct
Any fraudulent behaviour may result in immediate suspension or removal from the platform.
Reviews & Ratings
Reviews should be:
- Genuine
- Honest
- Respectful
- Based on actual experiences
Users must not:
- Leave false reviews
- Leave reviews for services they did not receive
- Attempt to manipulate ratings
- Use reviews to harass or threaten another user
Local Tradez reserves the right to remove reviews that breach these guidelines.
Messaging Guidelines
The Local Tradez messaging system is provided to facilitate job-related communication. Users must not use messaging to:
- Send spam
- Send offensive content
- Promote unrelated services
- Harass users
- Distribute unlawful material
Repeated misuse may result in account restrictions or suspension.
Job Posting Guidelines
Homeowners should:
- Provide accurate information
- Upload relevant photos and videos
- Clearly describe the required works
- Act in good faith
Contractors should:
- Review job information carefully
- Provide realistic pricing
- Communicate professionally
- Honour commitments where reasonably possible
Safety & Legal Compliance
All users must comply with:
- Australian laws
- Workplace health and safety requirements
- Consumer protection laws
- Licensing requirements
- Insurance obligations
Local Tradez does not supervise works and users remain responsible for their own legal compliance.
Respect Intellectual Property
Users must not upload content that:
- Infringes copyright
- Infringes trademarks
- Violates intellectual property rights
- Uses another person’s content without permission
Users are responsible for ensuring they have authority to upload all content.
Privacy & Personal Information
Users should only share information necessary to complete a project. Users must not:
- Misuse personal information
- Share private information without consent
- Collect information for unlawful purposes
Local Tradez takes privacy seriously and expects users to do the same.
Account Suspension & Removal
Local Tradez may suspend, restrict or terminate accounts that:
- Breach these Community Guidelines
- Breach the Terms & Conditions
- Engage in unlawful conduct
- Participate in fraud or abuse
- Repeatedly receive complaints
Serious breaches may result in immediate removal from the platform without notice.
